Peer Comment - Selfies
I am commenting on Kailyn's "Going to Senior Pictures" selfie. I think this is a really good selfie of her. I really like this picture above the others because of how she looks genuinely happy and how the lighting makes her look. The lighting brings a overall blissful look to the picture, as well as making her eyes light up and her hair make a good contrast to the rest of the picture.

Portrait Peer Comment
I am commenting on this picture by basicwhitegirlphotography.blogspot.com. I really like this picture and how she is not displaying a certain emotion, leaving it up to interpretation. This is a really good picture and I think she did a really good job with it.
Portrait Peer Comment
I am commenting on Kailyn's edited portrait. I think it is a very striking photograph, and it is one of my favorite pictures that she took for portrait. She does a really good job at making everything in the picture stand out and also not making one particular thing stick out. I love the color and I love the contrast. Overall, a great picture.

Portaits in the Raw
This project was exceptionally difficult, because capturing a picture that could have multiple meanings is very hard to do with other people.

Forced Perspective - Crushin Cars and Your Dreams - Edited
I am not sure why this is sideways, but regardless, this was my favorite picture of forced perspective. I like how she looks like she is stepping on this small towns cars, reeking havoc. What I did to edit this picture was I put a darker hue over the entire picture and then turned the contrast up, creating a darker picture overall.

Motion Bubbles Edited
This was one of my favorite pictures I took for motion, so I decided to edit it. First I blurred the outer edges, focusing more on the bubbles and filter they were coming from. I put a red hue over the whole picture. I then proceeded to turn the contrast up a small amount and turn the brightness down, making a cooler picture with a more grey tone instead of what was a warmer picture.

Forced Perspective Tiny Woman 5
I like this picture because it looks like Kailyn is standing in my hand. My only complaint is the trees in the background and my body on the left side of the picture, but I could easily fix that by cropping the photo.
Forced Perspective Tiny Trees
I like this picture a lot because it looks like she is holding a small tree. The only thing that throws this picture off is the building in the background.
Forced Perspective Large Woman with Pole
I like this picture because it appears as if she is leaning on this pole. My only complaint is that I couldn't get her hand to look like it was touching the pole.
Forced Perspective Tiny Woman 4
This picture is one of my favorites. I like how she looks as if she is skipping across the leaf. The only things I would change are not getting her feet completely on the leaf and the blurriness of the leaf itself.
Forced Perspective On Top of the School
I am very torn about this picture. This picture is supposed to seem as if she is as large as the building behind her, sitting on it . I think with some editing I could feel more confident about this picture.
Forced Perspective Tiny Woman 3
I like this one a lot because of how it looks as if she is standing among the branches in this bush.
Forced Perspective Tiny Woman 2
I like this picture because of how she looks like she is standing on this small portion of the fire hydrant. Again, the background area takes away the look of the picture, making it look as if she is just far away.
Forced Perspective Large Woman vs Small Community
I like these picture a lot because it looks like she is destroying the cars of a very small community. I put both pictures on here because I liked the progression from almost stepping on the cars to actually doing it.
Forced Perspective Tiny Woman
I like this picture a lot because it actually looks like there is a tiny girl (Kailyn) on this car. The only thing that takes away from the picture is the trees in the background, semi giving away that she is in fact not a tiny woman.

Forced Perspective Flag
Not my favorite photo because of the school in the background kind of ruining the look of how tall Kailyn "appears" to be.

Motion Comment
I am posting to comment about this picture http://basicwhitegirlphotography.blogspot.com/2015/10/my-favorite-edited-motion-picture.html which is a really good picture of motion. Not only is it very aesthetically pleasing, but it I also like how you can tell that her hand is still and the surrounding area is fairly still, yet the colorful, red leaves are falling in the background.
Motion Comment
I am posting a comment about http://doggxgirl123.blogspot.com/2015/10/skimmingedited-movement.html - this picture by Kailyn. I really like this picture because of how everything around it is blurring and you can see the pages flipping, but the word "TEXT" is extremely clear, giving the picture a crisp look. What really adds to this picture is that the surrounding is all blurry and white, whereas the word "TEXT" is in orange, and also, it is cool that a big word text is in a book where text would normally be.

Motion Creek
This picture I took on a nature trail, and I found this creek. I thought it was a good picture for motion, with the still leaves and moving water.
Motion Kitty Butt
This is another picture of the barn cat, trying to run away from me under the gate but got stuck. You can imagine the butt wiggles that came after.
Motion Axolotl
I love this picture of my friend's axolotl, Lanna, who is falling off of her Marimo moss ball (appropriately named Malachite)
Motion Barn Kitty
I like this barn cat picture because he almost blends into the background but I also like how you can see him scratching his ear.
Motion Notebook
I how this picture shows the middle pages are flipping and at the same time, it almost seems as if it blends into the pages on the bottom, not moving at all.
Motion Truck
I liked this picture because of how it shows the truck in motion and everything around it completely still.
Motion The Begger
Motion Kaiju 2.0
This is a picture of my cat, Kaiju (aka Giant Beast - and he lives up to his name) attempting to roll his fat belly over.

Texture Comment
I am commenting on http://doggxgirl123.blogspot.com/2015/09/cherries-soft-texture.html this picture (Kailyn's) of cherries is beautiful and it caught my eye immediately. I like the blur in the front and how it appears more focused in the back. I also like how you can see the plumpness of the cherries mixed with the thin leaves, it leaves a really bright, colorful affect.
Line Comment
I am commenting on http://doggxgirl123.blogspot.com/ (Kailyn's) line picture, "Stem of a Pumpkin"
I really enjoyed the way she angled the picture so that you could not only see the lines in the stem of the pumpkin but also the lines in the pumpkin. I also really like autumn and pumpkins so this picture is very pleasing to me.

Texture in Bun (edited)
I always really liked this picture because of the different dimensions of the bun and the texture you can see with each strand of hair in the bun itself. I also enjoy the natural blur affect it takes on, focused in the front (closest section of hair) and getting blurrier each "layer" it goes back.
Because of my love for this picture, when I was editing I did not want to affect the overall look of the picture by messing with blurring or anything like that. What I did was just enhance the deep brown color and accentuate the red tints throughout it. I brought the brightness down and the contrast up. I also added a red hue overtone to help bring out the red undertone in her hair, and I also brought the saturation up a small bit. Overall, I am still very pleased with this picture.
Line - Pots (edited)
I really liked this picture when I took it. I enjoyed how even though the lines weren't right on top of each other, it still was a great picture depicting line. I also really liked the bright orange hue of the pots and the deep, dark crevices in between them, I thought it made a really cool affect.
I edited this picture a few weeks back and I don't remember everything I change in editing. What I do remember is that I edited this picture by adding a rainbow affect and also enhancing the color of the pots, brightening the picture as a whole.

Texture with String
I like this picture because it shows texture in a few ways. It shows the strings vs the base/background, it shows texture through the string groupings, and it also shows texture with the string groups lapping over the other groups.
Texture in Gym Shorts
I like this photo because there are many aspects of this picture that could count as texture. There is the bunching of the actual material and then there in the depth of the two separate layers of the shorts. The top black opaque layer and the solid pink bottom layer.
Texture in Messy Bun
I like this picture because of the texture you can see in the individual strands of hair, but also that you can see the texture between the different layers of the bun itself. There are at least three layers in the bun that I can see, and I think it's fun to have more than one thing to look at.
Texture in Mac Keyboard
I like this picture because it shows the different depths of each of the keys next to the base of the keyboard. I think how it is focused in the front and blurs more towards the back, but that you can still see the texture is a cool affect.
